The Dawn Rock

Dawn breaks, quietly trembling
the dew dropped grass with its rosy glow.
Brighter still, calm soft wind is rising,
it brushes gently through my hair, yeeah.

Chill yet warmed by an inner heat.
Memory of circumstance beyond recall.
The grass tingles my soft soles of my feet.
The memories called back by the still of morning.

-- What is this feeling I got,
-- How can I be what I am, when I'm not?
-- It's just this feeling I got.
-- It's starting to make my brain turn to rot!

Beauty in nature is showing me the way
through the mist of innocence.
I find the dawn, a time of love and of play,
The play starts, twists and changes.

The sun's fire evaporates the wonder.
memoriess fade and life still goes on.
The dawn is passed, the mist has gone now.
How is it that I don't wanna get up!

-- What is this feeling I got,
-- How can I be what I am, when I'm not?
-- It's just this feeling I got.
-- It's starting to make my brain turn to rot!

I'm grown up now, but still a child of the universe,
how can this be, when I still feel so old.
The twilight of dawn, is a time of rememberance,
of the time, the time I was free!
