I was walking late home,
All alone on my own,
When I passed dis phone,
and I started hearing a tone.

When I looked to see,
What was happning to me
I almost turned to flee
Cause dis dam big tree

was just sitting dere,
In the streetlamp glare
With it's branches bare,
In the sharp clean air.

It wernt dere before,
Dere were a phone before,
Then I fell to the floor
as the tree said "MORE!!"

Where did it come from?
How did it talk?
More's to the point,
Can the dam thing walk!

As I started to run,
The tree said "COME!"
And I knew I was done,
'cause I had a feeling in my tum.

But as I lay there in fear,
The tree shuffled near,
It seemed almost to leer,
As it said in a sneer.

"Your the tastiest little morcel that I've seen"

"I'm gonna crunch ya"
"Y'd better start praying pal, cause you got no future here, your a has-been!"

Then in the night there came a scream,
And the angel of my dream
Apeared there bright and clean
Protecting *me* from being creamed!

As she stood and played the part,
And the tree just fell apart
Something hit me like a dart
'cause I knew I just lost my heart

She took me home to her pad,
It almost made me mad,
I felt such a cad,

she showed me the door,
